Lady_Tara started this conversation

I am looking for students grants and loans for a single mother of two little girls going back to school for emergancey medical tech. I will be going to a  votec school because it is closer to my home and cheaper than a 4 year college. If anyone know's any information where I can use please let me know I have one month to get the money. I have to have the money paid on or before Aug 2nd 2005.

All these people looking for grants and such, i am starting to think that there is none or it isnt open to public eyes. When i researched these grants. i noticed that they were open to businesses or organizations, and not individual people in society. So basically our own goverment is screwing us over to make a profit. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, when does it ever end? when is someone going to stand up and say enough is enough? i knowfrom my point of view, i am a convicted felon trying to do right in this world but beacuse i messed up when i was 18, now 36, that my whole life is shot.....no one wants to hire someone like me, and finding benefits is just as hard. So, you, as a whole in society, tell me what r we as a people supposed to do to make it in this world? go back to robbing people?......my name is William johnson, 2105 spicewood dr, killeen tx, 76543.....how am i supposed to feed my family or find us a place to stay with society treating us the way they do?

Hi Tara, In the next section there is a link to federal grants and loans for nursing education. Have a look at the programs, they could be of interest to you. But also having in ming your tight schedule and the fact that most programs have deadlines and that it is necessary to apply earlier in order to get the money, be prepared that you might not be able to find funding from them in the next two weeks.
